Cardamom Seeds Hand Peeled

Authentic Indian cardamom seeds are directly sourced from Wayanad, Kerala.  Seeds and Hands cardamom are tested to be pesticide free based on CODEX,  International Food Standards.  The most recent test was done on 24-Apr-2019.  The flavour of cardamom comes from its seeds.  It has an earthy and bitter sweet aroma.  It is used mainly in Indian, Middle Eastern, Arabic and Swedish cuisines.  Premium bold, natural, green cardamom pods are hand peeled and packed, keeping hygiene as a priority.  Seeds and Hands supports small scale farmers and promotes direct trade. We travel and cherry-pick best available spices from them.

About our Wayanad Cardamom Seeds

Cardamom production uses dangerously high amounts of pesticide in it’s cultivation. But during our travels, one of the farmer suggested that to have a pesticide free experience, consume only the seeds and not the shell. When we tested the Cardamom with the shell verses without the shell, it was a eureka moment for us. The results showed that the seeds are truly pesticide free even when the Cardamom showed traces of pesticide when tested with their shell. We aim to supply the healthiest forms of available spices and so have taken this initiative to painstakingly hand peel and provide our valuable customers with this unique pesticide free, fragrant and delicious experience.
