Nettipattam or elephant caparison is an ornament worn by elephants in Kerala during festivals and rituals in temples thereby adding to the grandeur of the occasion.  Imitations of these caparisons are made for decoration purposes and hung at homes and offices.  These are available in various sizes.  This model is 24 inches long.
